- It’s morning, 6 degrees C. After harvesting vegetables for lunch I walk up and down the lawn to get the mud off my garden flip-flops’ soles. Then I take them off and continue barefoot. Refreshing!
- I encourage Jay to walk up to two strange ladies and ask to borrow a candle lighter. And she does it without hesitation. I remember her being a shy 5-year old but not anymore.
- I am ready to leave but then I wait till they are finished listening to the audio story The Mishmash Bakery, one of my favorites, too.
