  1. We walk through the wood, past hayracks and farms, all the way to an old cottage. I love that we have come here, to see the place where our favorite poetess used to live, but what makes the walk worthwhile is holding hands with Jay and Em.
  2. "Exerting yourself to the fullest within your individual limits: that’s the essence of running, and a metaphor for life—-and for me, for writing as well.” I didn't exactly exert myself by running after my girls today, but I would really like to get back to running. Jogging, actually. I am inspired.
  3. Rain, rain, don’t go away, and do come again tomorrow. I am so happy to have you here.

  1. A lovely post, Meri! And it's fantastic to see you online. Who is the poetess?--I'd love to look up some of her work! Here's sending you & your family good thoughts for good days....
